Universal Meals Program
Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge to students during each school day as part of the state’s Universal Meals Program. Breakfast will be served before school, and if it is not picked up, a second chance is served at brunch time. Lunch is served during lunch periods. Participation is optional.
All meals will be provided by The Lunch Master. The Lunch Master is an outside vendor that has high standards for your child’s meals. Menus, along with a list of potential allergens, will be posted on the District and your student's school's website.

While all students will receive free meals, we still highly encourage families who may qualify for the Federal “free or reduced lunch” meal programs to submit the meal application to qualify for other support programs available to the families as well as generate potential federal grants for the District.
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Meals for Kids Site Finder (Summer Site Finder)
USDA works closely with states to ensure that children who receive on free or reduced-price school meals can get the nutrition they need when schools are closed – whether during summer break or unexpected closures during the school year. Through USDA's summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country can serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost. Families can use this tool to find directions to nearby meal sites, as well as their hours of operation and contact information. Please click here for more information.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
